Trade Center

The Trade Center is the main page of TradeTrax and contains three elements:

• A simplified acquisition form
• The ledger list
• The ledger filter

Buying stock via the acquisition form is the same as creating it from the stock editor with the only difference being that some fields will be set to default values automatically. Whenever assets are created this way, the id of the new asset will be put into the finder in the sidebar for easily looking it up.

The ledger list is just an endless list of assets sorted by acquisition date and id. It serves as an index from which stock can be found, modified or sold off. The ledger filter allows for breaking down the index to only show items that match certain criteria.
