Price list
The price list tool lists all assets "on hand" with their expected sales price in plain text format (suitable for mailing it to buyers who request a catalog of available stock).
An asset is considered to be "on hand" if it has an acquisition, but no liquidation date and if there is at least one unit of it. It may very well be that there are several assets of the same kind (same name, same variant), but with different expected retail prices in the ledger. In that case, the highest retail price will be selected.
The retail price can be set in the asset editor. By entering a value for "returns" but no liquidation date (a cash value without an associated date is considered to be "expected").
The price list does not include a unit count because it is meant to be sent to be send to potential buyers (e.g. via email). Since buyers have no means to communicate with each other, they would also have no means of figuring out if a given unit count is current or if someone else has bought up the entire stock in the meantime.
