Saving and restoring

Veteran players will be used to saving and restoring games through the commandline (e.g. by typing "save" or "restore"). This is not supported by Text Fiction. Saving/Restoring via the commandline wil always result in an error message.
The only way in which you can save/restore is through the menu (either press the menu key on your phone or the "+" symbol next to the commandline). The game will also automatically be saved whenever you hit the back button and return to the library.

Please note that Text Fiction was meant to use the Quetzal file format to make it possible to exchange savegames with other interpreters. As a result of adapting the engine to Android, however, compatibility is broken. Unfortunately, it is not possible to fix this without breaking compatibility with existing Text Fiction save files.
