Finder

The finder is a vital component of TradeTrax, providing two important features:

• Looking up an asset by id
• Quick access to bookmarked assets.

Every asset in the ledger has a unique, numerical id that is automatically assigned when an asset is created. Entering a valid asset id into the finder will open the asset editor for the requested asset. If a non numerical value is entered, TradeTrax will assume it to be an asset name and pass the value to the ledger filter on the TradeCenter.

Bookmarks provide quick access to assets. They can be toggled via the asset editor.
