Installation

For basic use, TradeTrax requires neither installation nor configuration. However, the software depends on Java 6 (or later) and a web browser to be available on your computer.

The TradeTrax binary can live anywhere on your filesystem. Starting it will launch a local webserver and open the mainpage in your browser. Any user data entered into the ledger will be kept in the TradeTrax directory within your personal folder.
